Tarek El Kady is an entrepreneur, angel investor and ecosystem builder from Alexandria, now based in Riyadh. Over more than two decades, he has built companies, investment networks and innovation platforms across MENA, the GCC, Africa and the Mediterranean.

He is CEO of KD Group, Managing Director of EZEXPO, and Founder and Chairman of Techne. Since 2015, Techne has connected founders with capital, corporations, markets and knowledge, while Techne Drifts has taken that access to more than 16 cities beyond the usual entrepreneurship capitals.

Through Alex Angels and Investors of the Mediterranean, he mobilizes early-stage capital and cross-border opportunity for founders, angel investors, venture firms and family offices.
